A British Council and HSBC survey of over 800 teachers revealed that the language was only taught in 3% of primary schools and 9% of secondary schools.

英國文化協會和匯豐銀行對超過800位教師進行調查，揭露只有3%的小學和9%的中學有教授中文。

提到認知（perceive）困難的議題（issue），利物浦大學孔子學院的副院長趙裘琳呼籲重新思考（rethink）教學課程的設計。孔子學院總部（headquarters）也確實派來了教師，但因為是自願者（volunteer），他們的簽證只能使用一年。
